Quotes to Consider:

Gordon Keddie on Matthew 25:33: "There is a tendency to clothe the Great Day in an aura of dreadful suspense, as if we will all arrive before Christ’s throne in ignorance of our eternal destiny—as if even Christians will have no assurance that they are saved and will wait in nail-biting nervousness for the word from the Lord. In fact, God’s people will wait in wonderfully heightened anticipation of the joy of their salvation. Their hearts will be thrilled to see the Lord ‘face to face’ (I Cor. 13:12). This is their day—a day of deliverance, happiness and glorious transformation!" (He Spoke in Parables, p. 252).
